Course, sessions usually part of HAI HELI-EXPO to be presented online this year instead.
HAI’s Manufacturer Technical Briefings (MTB) and Flight Instructor Refresher Course (FIRC) are traditionally a big part of the education program at HAI HELI-EXPO. With the 2021 show having been canceled, this year we’re bringing both offerings to you—virtually—during the third week of March.
Virtual FIRC, Mar. 21–22, 2021
The two-day, 16-hour , presented by HAI and Helicopter Institute, will take place Mar. 21–22 from 10 am to 7 pm eastern time (UTC-4). The helicopter-specific course is the only FAA-approved virtual FIRC in the nation and is designed for flight instructors who wish to:
- Renew their instructor certificates under CFR Part 61
- Maintain their qualifications as chief instructors or assistant chief instructors for pilot schools certificated under CFR Part 141.
The FIRC curriculum meets FAA requirements for nationally scheduled, industry-conducted flight instructor refresher courses (AC 61-83G).
Other participants who take the course to broaden their aviation knowledge will receive a certificate of completion. for this event and get the latest updates in regulations and helicopter flight instruction techniques from leading rotorcraft industry professionals!
Virtual MTB Week, Mar. 22–26, 2021
During this weeklong event, aircraft and engine original equipment manufacturers (OEM) will present maintenance and technical product updates in their briefings, all of which meet FAA requirements for renewal of inspection authorization (IA) certificates and aviation maintenance technician (AMT) credits.
Our Mar. 22–26 features more than 20 hours of virtual briefings from more than a dozen OEM, so for this free event!
