Purge fuel collector system now available for UH-60 helicopters

Paul Smith News from HAI Members

Timberline Aerospace, LLC, an affiliate of Timberline Helicopters, Inc. is pleased to announce FAA-PMA approval of the Purge Fuel Collector System for UH-60 helicopters. Installation is via an Approved Model List STC including UH-60A models held by 9 different TC holders. Kits are now available to order with introductory pricing.

The system meets USFS Call When Needed and Exclusive Use contract requirements, and prevents engine shutdown purge fuel from being released into the environment.

Also available by STC and FAA-PMA is a locking fuel cap system approved for Bell 205, 206, 407, 212, 412, Airbus AS-350, and MD-500 series helicopters. Currently, there are many more modifications and upgrades in development and undergoing FAA certification.
