  • What are the HAI HELI-EXPO 2020 registration rates?

    HAI Show Management offers several HAI HELI-EXPO 2020 registration rates, depending on your HAI member status and whether you qualify for additional discounts.

  • How do I register to attend HAI HELI-EXPO 2020?

    You can register for HAI HELI-EXPO 2020 online at , by mail (link to PDF), or onsite at the Anaheim Center. We strongly recommend that all attendees register online to save time and money. Early-bird rates end midnight on December 6, 2019. Register today! Register today!

  • Can I attend HAI HELI-EXPO 2020 even if I’m not a member of HAI?

    Both HAI members and nonmembers are welcome to attend HAI HELI-EXPO. However, HAI members receive discounts on registration. Become an HAI member today and take advantage of your member discount.

  • How do I submit my attendee registration?

    You can register for HAI HELI-EXPO through one of these four options:

    • On Site: Registration will be available at one of the many Attendee Registration kiosks. However, we strongly urge you to spend less time waiting in line on-site and register online. Early-bird rates end midnight December 6.

    HAI cannot accept registrations over the phone.

  • What type of payments are accepted for HAI HELI-EXPO 2020 registration?

    We accept all major forms of credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) for online, fax, mail, or on-site registration. If registering by mail, you can submit a personal check, along with your printed registration confirmation form.

  • How do I register my spouse?

    Spouses who accompany a full registrant can register at the spouse rate, which includes all benefits of a full 3-day registration.

  • Does HAI offer a student registration rate?

    Yes, HAI offers a discounted rate for student.

  • May I bring my child and/or children to HAI HELI-EXPO 2020?

    Children (anyone under age 18) are more than welcome to attend HAI HELI-EXPO. All children must be accompanied by a registered adult. 

    Registration for children age 14 and under is free. However, children age 14 and under must wear a youth badge, which can be picked up at Attendee Registration on-site. 

    Children age 15+ can register at discounted student rates. To receive the discounted student rate, students must provide proof of their student status when registering, by providing one of the documents below.

    • School ID card
    • Letter on school letterhead signed by the student’s advisor or instructor
    • uition receipt demonstrating current enrollment 

    For your safety, strollers are not allowed in the exhibit hall at any time. No exceptions will be made. Please make arrangements to leave strollers in the coat/bag check area.

    Because of safety concerns, no children (anyone under age 18) are permitted on the show floor during exhibitor move-in or move-out.

  • Does HAI offer a military registration rate?

    Active military personnel can benefit from the discounted rate which is same as the pricing for HAI members. Once you complete your registration, you will receive an email for instructions on how to upload proof of your eligibility for discounted registration rates. Once your document(s) is uploaded in your Registration Portal, your information will reviewed for eligibility. Once approved, you will get an official attendee registration confirmation email.

  • Can I make changes to my attendee registration?

    HAI will accept changes to attendee registrations submitted by Wednesday, January 29, 2020. No changes will be accepted after that date.

  • I left my attendee badge in my hotel room — now what?

    We are more than happy to reprint your badge at Attendee Registration.

  • What is HAI’s cancellation policy for attendee registrations?

    If you need to cancel your HAI HELI-EXPO registration, please email heliexpo@rotor.org by midnight December 6, 2019, to receive a full refund minus a $20 processing fee. No refunds are available after that date.

  • I received a promo code from an exhibitor for an HAI HELI-EXPO registration; how do I register using this code?

    To register, please follow the instructions on the email that was sent to you or by visiting our online Registration Portal. This promo code will only work if you register through the link in that email and may be used only once by the recipient of the email. If you are unable to find the email, please contact the exhibitor who invited you so they can log into their portal and resend.

    This complimentary pass is valid for entry into the exhibit hall January 28–30, 2019.

  • Does HAI HELI-EXPO have a housing block in and around Anaheim?

    Yes, the HAI HELI-EXPO housing block contains a wide variety of hotels, both near the Anaheim Convention Center and in Anaheim.

  • How do I make my hotel reservations for HAI HELI-EXPO 2020?

    To book your housing accommodations online, please visit our online Housing Portal. If you would rather not book online, you can fill out this pdf housing form

    The HAI HELI-EXPO Welcome Reception will be held on Monday, January 27, at 6:30 pm on the Grand Plaza of the Anaheim Convention Center, between the Marriott and Hilton.

  • Where and when is the Salute to Excellence Awards luncheon?

    The Salute to Excellence Awards luncheon will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center on Wednesday, January 29, from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. This event is not included in your HAI HELI-EXPO registration; you can purchase your individual ticket or a table for 8 by visiting the Salute to Excellence page

    The HAI HELI-EXPO 2020 show app is available for download. Show app can be downloaded for free from either the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android). You can also scan the QR code located on the front of your HAI HELI-EXPO 2020 Program & Exhibit Guide. From there, follow the instructions provided on your device to complete the download.

  • What are the dining options at the Anaheim Convention Center?

    Information on dining options at the ACC will be posted at a later date. You can also find this information on-site in your show app.

Education Programing
  • What education programs are offered during HAI HELI-EXPO 2020?
    HAI HELI-EXPO provides a wealth of educational opportunities for helicopter professionals.

    HAI Professional Education Courses

    HAI Professional Education courses provide helicopter-specific training for pilots, maintenance technicians, managers, and safety professionals who want to improve their skills.

    • Cost: Attending a PEC course is not included in your HAI HELI-EXPO registration; PEC courses have a separate registration fee
    • Courses Offered: We offer a variety of education courses for helicopter aviation professionals
    • Schedule: HAI Professional Education courses are held before or after HAI HELI-EXPO (see the full schedule); some courses are only half a day; others range from one to four days in length

    Rotor Safety Challenge

    The Rotor Safety Challenge offers pilots, maintenance technicians, and other aviation professionals safety tools and techniques that can be applied back on the job.

    • Cost: The Rotor Safety Challenge is free to registered HAI HELI-EXPO attendees and exhibitors
    • Sessions Offered: Visit the Rotor Safety Challenge schedule to view this year’s offerings, or browse this list of session descriptions
    • Schedule: The Rotor Safety Challenge begins with the HAI Safety Symposium and the Safety Directors Forum on Monday, January 27. The other events in the Rotor Safety Challenge will take place on Tuesday, January 28, and Wednesday, January 29. Most sessions are 1 hour in length 

    Manufacturer Technical Briefings

    Offered annually at HAI HELI-EXPO, the Manufacturer Technical Briefings promote safety in the helicopter industry by providing free technical presentations and inspection authorization renewal opportunities for maintenance professionals.

    • Cost: The Manufacturer Technical Briefings are free to registered HAI HELI-EXPO attendees and exhibitors
    • Briefings Offered: Please check out this list of the 2020 Manufacturer Technical Briefings
    • Schedule: The Manufacturer Technical Briefings will be held on Tuesday, January 28, and Wednesday, January 29; they are 55 minutes in length

    Inspection Authorization (IA) Renewals
