Course Description:
This high-impact workshop provides the necessary insight to promote and enhance integrated crew performance among all members of the aeromedical team. Participants will gain a better understanding of their safety system and how it supports operational activities; enhance Crew Resource Management (CRM) skills to promote integrated crew performance; develop threat and error management capabilities to enhance operational risk assessment and mitigation; and develop an action plan for applying workshop knowledge to on-the-job safety issues.

Jerry Allen has more than 25 years of aviation experience in human factors, error management and safety. He has a B.A. in Aviation Science from the College of the Ozarks, and an M.A. in Aviation Safety from Central Missouri State University.

In addition to receiving two international awards for maintenance resource management (MRM) training and error investigation, Allen has been published in numerous trade journals, conference proceedings, and in-house publications on the topic of human error and human error investigation. He is also a trained accident investigator, U.S. A&P mechanic, private pilot and certified aircraft insurance adjuster.

Who Should Attend?
This course is essential for all members of the aeromedical team, from pilots to nurses. There are no course prerequisites.
