Airports
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is located 25 minutes from downtown Dallas. The approximate cab fare from DFW to the Dallas Convention Center is $40.
Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) is located 10 minutes from downtown Dallas.
Shuttle Buses
HAI will provide complimentary shuttle service between the Dallas Convention Center and the hotels within the HELI-EXPO 2012 housing block from 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., on the show days of February 12-14.
Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART)
DART offers nearly 72 miles of light rail and 120 routes of bus transit throughout the city, including to the DCC, hotels, shopping, restaurants and attractions. A light rail station is located at the corner of Lamar Street and Memorial on the south side of the DCC. A local-area day pass is $4.00. Single ride fares start at $1.75. Taxis
Several cab companies with thousands of cabs serving the area, including Executive; Yellow Cab (equipped with GPS for quick response) and Cowboy Cab (one of the most requested cabs).
DCC Parking
The DCC has two parking garages that can accommodate 1,200 parking spaces located beneath the main level of exhibit space. Parking charge, as of August 2011, is $12.00 per entry vehicle with no in–and-out privileges. The main entrance is on Griffin between Memorial and Canton St. Lot C can be entered on Lamar between Ceremonial and Young. For more information, contact ACE Parking at (214) 671-9509.

Children & Strollers
Registration for children (age 14 and under) is free. However, children must wear a “Youth Badge,” to be picked up at an Attendee Registration counter onsite. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children are only permitted inside the exhibit hall during show hours; no one under the age of 18 is allowed on the show floor during move-in / move-out times. If you have any questions see show management.
The nature of displays at HELI-EXPO® can cause people to look up, rather than below waist level in front of them or coming around a corner. For this reason, HAI has a strict policy concerning child/infant strollers. Strollers will NOT be allowed into the exhibit hall at any time. No exceptions will be made. Please make arrangements to leave strollers at the Bag/Coat Check area.
